WALTERS STATE GOLF TAKES FIRST IN THEIR FALL CLASSIC

The Walters State golf team were able to take home the first place team trophy in this year's Walters State Fall Golf Classic.  Trey Tobias of Walters State also took the medalist honors for the two day tournament.  

The Senators finished with a two day total of 602, posting a 300 on Monday and following that up with a 302 on Tuesday.  They were nine shots better than Carson Newman's "B" team who took second place out of the 11 teams competing.  TCCAA member Cleveland State also participated and finished with a two day aggregate of 663.

Tobias had a two day total of 143 which included a 71 on Tuesday which included six birdies.  Fellow Senator Alex Hodge finished second with a 147.
