The TCCAA wishes everyone a Happy Holiday season.

With the second half of the basketball season resuming in mid January, Motlow State currently sits atop the men's basketball standing with a 5-0 record while their female countertops share a first place tie with Walters State with identical 4-0 records.  Those two could be undefeated come January 12th when the Lady Senators travel to the Lady Bucks for their first conference tilt this season.

Eventually all roads will lead to L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State for the 2019 TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Basketball tournament.  The tournament will begin on march 1st with the playing games.  The Women's quarterfinals will be on Saturday, and the men quarterfinals will be on Sunday.  All four semifinal games will be played on Monday with championship games being held Tuesday.  The respective champions will receive automatic berths to their National Tournaments.

The spring semester will also see softball and baseball begin action in early February with conference action beginning the first weekend of March.  this year's tournament will be held on the campus of Columbia State.  Both the Walters State baseball and softball teams will be trying to defend their Conference and Region Championships.  The Senator baseball team were the NJCAA runnerups in the 2018 season.

Men's golf will also be competing for a Region champion as Walters State and Cleveland State welcome new competing member Roane State to this year's play.
