The Motlow State soccer team will go into the last week of play with a 5-0 league record with one match to play, but has already secured the #1 seed for next weekend's NJCAA Region VII Tournament to be held at the St. George's School in Collierville.

The Lady Bucks secured their #1 seed with a 1-0 victory over Southwest Tennessee this past weekend.  Megan Blumhoefer (pictured) scored the only goal in the contest at the 61st minute of the second half.  With the loss, the Lady Saluquis will be the #2 seed in the upcoming tournament.  Columbia State will be the #3 seed while Dyersburg will finish as the #4 seed in the league.

The schedule for the region tournament have Motlow taking on Dyersburg at noon on Thursday, and then Southwest Tennessee will play Columbia at 3pm that afternoon.  The two winners will meet at 1pm on Friday to determine the champion.  The regular season awards will be announced prior to the championship match on Friday.
