FALL SPORTS SEES SIX ATHLETES NAMED ALL AMERICAN
During thi past fall semester, the athleticc teams of the TCCAA saw six student athletes named to their sports All American teams. Women's Volleyball had one named to each of the three teams while women's soccer had a first and third team selection. Men's soccer had the final with a first team selection.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Lauren Mims - First Team
Mims is a sophomore outside hitter and defensive specialist for Walters State. She appeared in 33 matches this year with 111 sets played. She had 324 kills, with 55 assists and 53 service aces. She recorded 481 digs with 16 solo blocks and 34 block assists.
Haleyu Ledford - Second Team
Ledford is a sophomore setter Roane State. She appeared in 24 matches with 85 sets played this season. She recorded 102 kills, 782 assists, and 61 service aces. She hadShe had 282 digs, 4 solo blocks, and 22 block assists.
Rylee Haynie - Third Team
Haynie was a freshman middle blocker for the Lady Senators this year. She appeared in 32 mathes this seaason, playing in 118 sets. She had 237 kills with 8 assists and 7 service aes. She had 58 digs with 23 solo blocks, and ssisted on 105 blocks.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
Abigale Alexander - First Team
Alexander is a sophomore defender this year for Columbia State. She appeared in 15 matches with 13 goals and four assists. She had a .277 shot percentage and was credited with three game winning goals.
Libby Vincent - Third Team
Vincent is a sophomore midfielder for Motlow State.appeared in 21 matches this year.. She ahd 10 goals and seven assists. She reorded a .189 shot percentage with two game winning goals.
MEN'S SOCCER
Alejandro Mina - First Team
Mina is a freshman midfielder for Pellissippi State. He appeared in 15 matches this season. He had 20 goals and four assists this past year. He had a .513 shot percentage with four game winning goals.
