Walters State receives R. Foster Chason Commissioners Cup

The coaching staff and administration of the Senators / Lady Senators at Walters State received their award last night as the winners of the R. Foster Chason Commissioners Cup for the 2024-2025 season.  

Each year, a season-long competition occurs between all the TCCAA schools in the offered sports, whereby points are awarded based on final regular season conference standings.  Additional points are also awarded for postseason finishes. 

This prestigious award, the R. Foster Chason Commissioners Cup, is named after former TCCAA Commissioner Dr. Foster Chason who served as the leagues leader from 2015-2023.  Presenting the award were Dr. Chason, and Mike Campbell the current TCCAA Commissioner.

This was Walters State's 11th Cup in the last 12 seasons.
