WALTERS STATE ANNOUNCES NEW COACHES

The Walters State athletic department announced new head coaches for their cross country teams as well as the head coach for the women's basketball program.  Quintin McKinnish was named the head coach for the men and women's cross country teams on Tuesday while Patechia Hartman was announced as the new women's head basketball coach on Wednesday afternoon.

McKinnish, a Morristown native, served as a volunteer coach this past spring for the Senators.  He attended Furman University where he ran cross country for four years.

Hartman comes to Walters after a three year stint as an assistant coach at Georgia State University.  She is an alum of Georggia State where she starred for four year before moving on to play professionally.
