RANDY NESBIT TO STEP DOWN AFTER 29 YEARS AT ROANE STATE

Randy Nesbit, longtime head men's basketball coach and athletic director at Roane State, has decided to step away from his athletic responsibilties at the end of this academic year.  He will continue to be an instructor in the Business Department.  

Nesbitr has spent 36 years as a head basketball coach as he spent his first seven years as the head coach at his alma mater, The Citadel.

A native of Herminie (PA) where he graduated from Yough High School.  After graduation he spent his freshman year at Gulf Coast Community College before transferring to The Ciradel for his final three years.  He was induccted into their Hall of Fame in 2011, and still holds the career assists record 324 in his three years.
