ROANE'S STOTT, McCARTHY NAMED NJCAA DIVISION II GOLF ALL-AMERICANS

The NJCAA announced the golfers named All-Americans for Division II Golf this past week.  Louis Stott and Kieran McCarthy of Roane State were both named to thos e teams.  Stott was named to the second team while McCarthy was named as an honorable mention.  Selections were based on their finish at the NJCAA Division II National Golf Tournament.

Stott, who finished tied in 12th place, shot an eight over 296 for the tournament with rounds of 74-73-77-72-296.  McCarthy tied for 17th place as he posted an 11 over par with rounds of 79-71-72-77-299.

They helped the Raiders to a 5th place finish at the national tournament.
