CHATT'S LANEY, VOL'S COLLIER & KIRBY NAMED SOFTBALL ALL-AMERICANS
The NJCAA announced the selections for the 2025 NJCAA DI Softball All-American Teams. The TCCAA was well represented as three players made the list. Chattanooga State's Oliviaa Laney was named as a second team pitcher, while Volunteers A'miyah Collier was named as second team infielder. Her teammate, Lydia Kirby, was named as the third team catcher.
OLIVIA LANEY
Laney made 22 appearances this season for the Lady Tigers. She was 18-1 with one save on the season with a 1.04 ERA. She had 192 strikeouts in 121 innings pitched. She had 16 complete games and eight shutouts.
A'MIYAH COLLIER
Collier played in 43 games with a .479 batting average. She had 19 home runs and 95 RBIs on the season for the Lady Pioneers. She also had 15 doubles, nine triples, and 15 stolen bases during the season.
LYDIA KIRBY
Kirby appeared in 61 games this season for Vol State. She had a .445 batting average with 13 home runs and 103 RBIs. She also had 17 doubles, five triples, and seven bases on the year.
