TCCAA announces 2026 All-TCCAA Softball Teams, Special Awards

 

COLUMBIA, TN – The Tennessee Community College Athletic Association announced its 2026 All-TCCAA Softball Teams and Special Awards on Thursday.

 

Chattanooga State's Hallie Ueberroth was named the TCCAA Softball Player of the Year, while Roane State's Emma MacTavish was awarded the TCCAA Softball Pitcher of the Year. Volunteer State's Christian Lynn was the TCCAA Softball Coach of the Year. 

 

Ueberroth earned the Player of the Year honor after a phenomenal season. Ueberroth led the TCCAA in home runs with 25 and RBIs with 73. Ueberroth hit .410 on the season, had a .936 slugging percentage and scored 60 runs. Ueberroth ranked second in the country in home runs and seventh in RBIs. 

 

In TCCAA play, Ueberroth hit 21 home runs and drove in 59 runs in 28 games. 

 

The TCCAA Softball Pitcher of the Year, MacTavish led the conference in wins with 16, in complete games with 14, in shutouts with five and in strikeouts with 154. MacTavish had a 2.19 ERA in 121.2 innings and averaged 8.86 strikeouts per game.  

 

In 15 conference games, MacTavish had 13 wins and just one loss. She threw 83 innings, had a 1.27 ERA and struck out 123 batters. 

 

Lynn was named the Coach of the Year following a TCCAA Regular Season Title for the Lady Pioneers. Volunteer State went 47-13 on the season and 27-3 in TCCAA play. The Lady Pioneers hit .383 as a team and drove in 410 runs. Volunteer State is currently ranked No. 18 in the NJCAA DI Softball Top 25. 

 

Earning All-TCCAA First Team honors were Roane State's MacTavish, Chattanooga State's Ally Fleck and Volunteer State's Kaitlyn Davis at pitcher, Walters State's Kacey Pillion at catcher, Chattanooga State's Ueberroth and Kamryn Radley, Roane State's Paisley Campbell, Walters State's Lauren Ruehl and Volunteer State's Maddie Goad in the infield, Volunteer State's Maddie Shinton as the utility player, Walters State's Brianice Silguero as the designated player and Walters State's Addison Beech and Volunteer State's Kaitlin Dillard, Abby Murrill and Anaya Dawson in the outfield. 

 

On All-TCCAA Second Team were Dyersburg State's Ella Chilton and Chattanooga State's Ashleia Coble at pitcher, Roane State's Emille Hawkes and Volunteer State's Kileigh Irwin at catcher, Columbia State's Haley Gamblin, Volunteer State's Alyssa Dixon and Mallie Grizzle, Walters State's Nyah Mullins, Dyersburg State's Madyson Lanier and Motlow State's Anna Wood in the infield, Chattanooga State's Laylah Turner as the utility player, Chattanooga State's Ally Fleck as the designated player and Dyersburg State's Jaz Watkins, Chattanooga State's Salem O'Dell, Walters State's Jordan Pena and Jackson State's Faith Holt in the outfield.
