WALTERS WOMEN SIT UNDEFEATED AT TOP OF CONFERENCE
Walters State sits at the top of women's basketball standings through the first half of conference play with a perfect 10-0 record. The squad is currently ranked 10th in the latest NJCAA National Poll.
The Lady Senators are outscoring their conference opponents by an average of 43.2 points per game.
Dyersburg State sits in second with their losses having come from Walters and Columbia. Columbia sits in thrid place with losses to Walters, Pellissippi, and Jackson.
Pellissippi sits in fourth with a 6-4 record. Jackson and Cleveland are next with 5-5 records with Jackson defeating Cleveland earlier this season.
Southwest Tennessee and Volunteer both have 4-6 records with Southwest earning a 71-69 victory in the first half. Motlow and Chattanooga both have a 3-7 record with Motlow defeating Chattanooga. Roane State sits in 11th place with an 0-10 record.
The second half of conference play was to start this weekend, but Mother Nature has issued a winter storm watch which forced postponement and rescheduling of this weekend's games.
