ROANE STATE WOMEN'S GOLF FINISHES 12TH AT NATIONALS
The Roane State Lady Raider golf team travelled to Boone (IA) this past week to compete in the 2025 NJCAA Diviion II Women's National Championship. As a team, they would finish 12th in the tournament with a final team score of 282 over par.
The tournament suffered through high wind consditions for most of the final three days which increased over par scoring for the four day event. No individual golfer would finish a round with an under par round.
Georgia Cate would finish 21st indidually with a 334 (+46). Raegan Corvette would come in with a 356 (+68) to finish 47th in the field. Sydney Romer would finish in a tie for 55th place with a 364 (+78). Whitney Russell would finish in 67th place as she posted a 383 (+95), and Reagan Bailey finished in 74th place with a 416 (+128).
This was the first season that the Lady Raiders had qulified for the nationals as they went into the tournament ranked 8th in their latest poll.
