ROANE WOMEN'S GOLF QUALIFIES FOR NATIONALS
The Roane State women's golf team qualified for the NJCAA Division II Women's Golf Tournament by finishing second in the Southeast District Tournament this past week in Florida. The team will compete in the event whih will be held at the Ol' Colony Golf Course in Tuscaloosa Alabama beginning on May 12th and running through May 15.
The squad turned in a scorecard of 134 over par with rounds of 352 and 350. Florida Gateway were the tournament champs with a score of 79 over par (322-325-645).
Raegan Corvette finished in second place with a two day total of 79-74-153 (+11). Sydney Romer finished in fifth place by carding a 85-84-169 (+27). Reagan Bailey finished in eigth place with an 84-90-174 (+32). Baye Dobbs finished in 11th place with a two round total of 104-102-206 (+64).
The Raiders will be one of 112 teams to compete for the national champion. They are currently ranked 19th in the country.
