TCCAA WOMEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULED TO START CONFERENCE PLAY THIS WEEK

The TCCAA Women's Soccer teams are scheduled to start conference play this weekend as Raone State will be traveling west to take on Southwest Tennessee and Dyersburg State Thursday and Saturday.  Defending NJCAA Region VII and 17th ranked Motlow State will begin their defense with a matchup against Southwest Tennessee on Sunday in Memphis.

Motlow will head into conference play with a 3-1 record.  They defeated Hinds Community College and Wabash Valley by 4-1 and 3-1 before taking their first loss 2-0 to 2nd ranked Eastern Florida.  They got bak on the winning rack this past weekend as they defeated Lewis & Clark Community College 1-0.

Columbia State has a 2-0-1 as they defeated Hinds by an 11-0 score, and a 4-12 victory over Lewis & Clark.  They played to a 1-1 tie in their season opener against Wabash Valley.

Dyersburg State sits at 0-0-2 as they have played to ties against Blue Mountain and UT Southern JV.  Both matches in identical 2-2 finals.

Southwest Tennessee has started at 0-1-1 as they came to a 1-1 tie with Wabash Valley while falling to Itawamba by a 4-0 score.

Pellissippi State (0-2) and Roane State (0-4) have yet to reach the win column.  Pellissippi fell to Mississippi Gulf Coast by a 4-0 sore, and Itawamba by a 2-1 final.  Roane, in their first year of play, have lost to junior varisty teams from Johnson University (1-0), Tennessee Wesleyan (4-1), and Bryan College (3-0).  Itawamba handed them their fourth defeat by a 2-0 final.
