TCCAA/NJCAA REGION VII SOCCER TOURNAMENT STARTS SUNDAY
The TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Women's Soccer Tourament is scheduled to start on Sunday, November at three sites. All three games will be played at the higher seed with top seed Motlow State receiving a bye until the semis later in the week.
The #2 seed is Pellissippi State will be hosting #7 Seed Dyersburg State at 7pm EST at Knoxville Catholic High Shool in West Knoxville. They won both regular season matches against Dyersburg, shutting them out 10-0 and 8-0.
The #3 seed Columbia State will be hosting #6 seed Chattanooga State at 2pm CST at Ridley Field in Columbia. Columbia won both matches against Chattanooga this year by identical 8-0 scores.
The #4 seed Southwesdt Tennessee will host the #5 seed Roane State. Both teams finished with identical conference records, but Southwest won the tiebreaker. They split their regular season matchups ith Southwest winning 2-1 before Roane came back with a 2-0 win at the end of the season.
The semi finals will be held Wednesday as #1 seed Motlow will host the winner of the Southwest/Roane match. That match will start at 2pm CST on the Motlow campus. The other semi will match the winners of the other two matches with the highest seed remaining hosting that match. Game time to be determined by host of the match.
