MOTLOW, PELLISSIPPI ADVANCE TO SUNDAY CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

The top seeds will meet for the TCCAA/NJCAA Women's soccer Region Championship on Sunday, November 2, at 3pm CST.  Top seeded Motlow State will host 2nd seed Pellissippi State as both teams won their semifinals this past Wednesday.  Motlow beat roane State by a 5-0 final while Pellissippi outlasted Columbia State 2-0.

MOTLOW 5 - ROANE 0

Motlwo started the scoring early and never looked back in their win.  Five different Bucks scored in the game with Bryhana Molina, Milanna Cadore, and Teresa Kahlmann each scoring in the first half.  Madeline Wehlman and Kinley Buena each scored in the seond half.  Wehlman, Aireona Duenez, Ella Hopson, Ariana Baxter, and Haley Campbell were each credited with an assist.  Jordan Butler had two saves as the Raiders managed only three shots on goal.

Roane managed only three shots on goal for the evening, but goalie Addison Roberts had 15 saves as Motlow had 20 shots on goal.

PELLISSIPPI 2 - COLUMBIA 0

Pellissippi scored a goal in each half for the competitive victory.  Eva Greenwald scored the first goal in the 19th minute, and Ellie Barrett would add the other goal in the 46th minute of play.  The Panthers would have only six shots on goal.

Columbia's goalie Rory Burgess had four saves in the contest.
